Salt can be used for a variety of purposes including body wraps. Many people, myself included, love to add salt to a relaxing bath just for its soothing effects. Besides being a great bath and body wrap ingredient salt actually has many healing properties that make it one of the most popular minerals world wide.

It’s reputed to be able to help treat Psoriasis, Eczema, and many other skin diseases. Many people also use it along with a bath as a treatment for arthritis.

There are a couple different types of salt you can buy including Epsom Salt, Sea Salt, Dead Sea Salt and Himilayan Salt. All of these reputedly have different treatment purposes, but I suspect they’re somewhat similar on the molecule level.
